29-5E modifications

 
 
After adding support to the floor, I added two group 31 AGM batteries to the generator space at the front of the trailer.  These are in addition to the two in the factory battery trays.  Black switch is an on/off for the 1000 watt inverter mounted to the left of the cabinet.  Red switch is Main on/off for the coach.  Everything goes through that switch except the break away switch which has its own fuse.  Center is a 40 Amp manual reset breaker. 




1000 watt inverter mounted to wall inside generator cabinet.  Grey cord is wired to factory installed 30 amp outlet at rear of trailer in power cord storage area.  (pump visible in front is simply a spare water pump)







I installed a 200 amp catastrophe fuse (red block) which is the only path to ground in the system.  The black block is a 200 amp shunt that is connected to an amp meter in the coach.  ( just had it laying around, not really necessary)









Accumulator tank  installed to keep the pump from cycling too often.  (We get three good flushes at night before the pump comes on).  It also seems to keep the pressure constant at the faucet.
