September 2007 travels

September in Yellowstone is a magical time.  The crowds have thinned, the temperatures are cooler with the ever-present threat of snow, even the wildlife seem more relaxed.   While exploring the Park, if you stop and listen, chances are you will hear an elk bugle in the distance.

We close down the RV Park on September 30, so everyone is getting ready to head on to other adventures.  Some of us are planning to return next year.  It is always interesting to see who actually shows up.
