Our 2006 travels

2006 was a busy year.  We spent the winter at The Great Outdoors in Titusville, FL.  Cathy worked at H&R Block for the tax season, and Bill went to truck driving school and received his Commercial Driver’s License.  Now he is qualified to drive tour buses & shuttle buses, which makes him more marketable.  We left Florida in April and visited Great Smoky Mountains National Park before heading west.  We stopped in Council Grove, KS in the flint hills and visited Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve.  We then meandered our way to Boulder, WY where we homesteaded at Mountain Springs Ranch for a few weeks, before heading to Yellowstone & going to work.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Yellowstone and look forward to heading back there next summer.  After completing the season at Yellowstone, we visited Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Zion National Park & Death Valley National Park.  We fell in love with Zion and thought Death Valley was the strangest place we have ever been.  We hiked hundreds of miles! All the parks are worth a visit!
