Our 2002 travels

Our 2002 travels

At the end of 2001, after being in our new house for less than six months, Cathy announced that she missed being on the road. Here we go again...We traded in our Lance truck camper on a 24’ Arctic Fox fifth wheel and applied for seasonal employment around Yellowstone National Park. We were hired by West Yellowstone KOA. We closed up the villa in March and spent 6 weeks on the road before reporting to work. We visited Big Bend National Park in Texas, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, before reporting to work on May 10, 2002 in West Yellowstone, MT.
As life does, it threw us another curve ball. After a string of events, in September we found ourselves back in Marathon managing The Boat House once again. We sold the villa in Homosassa, put everything back in storage, and found a nice rental in Marathon. This was a temporary assignment, and we knew we would get back on the road once our two-year contract was fulfilled. (Somehow, our two-year contract lasted three years.)
